The only requirement for working with RIF 3.0 is that you (as an educator) create a class. After entering basic information of a new class a working environment is created for this class.
Select trial class: There is also the option of creating a 'trial class'. This is not a real class or group that you work with, but this class can be used to try out or get to know the RIF 3.0 learning platform. In this case, activate the [Trial class] button when creating a class.
In general, the anonymous data from RIF 3.0 is analyzed scientifically. By creating a trial class, it is recognized that the data of the class is not scientifically reliable; it is therefore not included in the analyses.
Immediately after entering that information, you will receive the code for the class (to activate task groups, to retrieve class data, and class results) and the access codes for each of the participating students. An individual access code is provided for each student to work with the task groups of RIF 3.0.
